May 4: Thos Moser Gallery Preview + Scholarship Fundraiser 6-8pm. Thos. Moser DC Showroom, 1028 33rd Street, NW, Washington, DC. Details. 
Fundraiser for the Foundation's scholarship program, includes refreshments, music by Maine jazz legend Brad Terry, silent auction; special discounts on furniture purchases and the official announcement of the Foundation’s 2018 scholar recipients.  

May 16: University of Maine Alumni event, 5:30- 7:30 p.m. on Capitol Hill,  The UMaine Alumni Association is hosting a networking reception and short program in the Kennedy Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building.  Featured guests are Senators Susan Collins and Angus King, as well as soon-to-retire U of Maine President Susan J. Hunter. The event is free and you don't have to be an alum to attend.  Register here.
